HABITAT RESTORE MISSION

Habitat for Humanity – Winona County is a non-profit, ecumenical, grassroots Christian ministry. Its primary goal is to eliminate sub-standard housing and homelessness by partnering with community members to construct simple, decent, affordable homes.

To help achieve that goal, Habitat for Humanity – Winona County also operates the Winona Habitat ReStore which provides all community members the opportunity to improve their current living conditions affordably by purchasing discounted building materials and home furnishings. HFH-WC partners with families in need to build simple, decent, affordable homes in Winona County, Minnesota.

Winona Habitat ReStore’s three part mission is:

•Support Habitat for Humanity with proceeds from sales of goods and through
..selecting materials to be used in Habitat home construction.
•Make home improvements affordable to anyone shopping at the store.
•Divert reusable materials from the landfill.

Above all, ReStore seeks to spread the mission of Habitat for Humanity by involving other community members by shopping, donating or volunteering at the ReStore.
