What is the Habitat ReStore?
The Habitat ReStore is a building materials reuse and surplus center. It is the first of its kind in Minnesota. Overstocked, discontinued or slightly damaged items as well as used materials and equipment will be donated for resale to the public.
What does the Restore sell? Cabinets, plumbing fixtures, electrical supplies, windows, hardware, doors, roofing, tools, flooring, any product involved in building a home as well as furniture of all kinds.
Who can shop at the ReStore?
Anyone! The ReStore is open to the general public and contractors.
How are materials donated? New and used building materials in good, useable condition can be donated to the Habitat ReStore by calling 507-474-6075 in Winona
and 507-696-1215 in Rochester.
How are items priced?
Materials are priced at 50-75% off retail prices.
What are the store hours? The Habitat ReStore is open Tuesday thru Saturday 9am to 5pm and Thursdays until 7pm.
How can I volunteer? Volunteers are needed to pick up materials, stock shelves, cashier and assist customers. Call the ReStore at 507-459-8294.
Where do the proceeds of the ReStore go?
Proceeds from the ReStore will be used to fund more Habitat homes in the Winona County area. Proceeds from other ReStores across the country have funded many new homes each year.
How often do we get new merchandise?
Everyday!
Who can donate materials?
Individuals, contractors, supplies, property managers, homeowner-anyone with useable materials and tools.
